God's Plan of Salvation

The most important question in life....Where will I spend eternity?

The Problem.... We are sinful.

Romans 3:23   “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Every person who has ever lived has missed God’s standard of perfection.  Every person  has sinned at some point in life.

The Result.... Separation from God.

Isaiah 59:2  “But your iniquities have separated you from your God... ”

This is an eternal separation that the Bible presents as eternal death.  Ezekiel 18:4  “…the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”   No amount of human goodness, human works, human morality, or religious activity can change the fact that we fall short of God's perfect righteousness.

God's Solution.... An incredible act of love and a free gift.  God offered His son for our sin on the cross.

Rom 5:8  “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ”

Rom 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

How Do We Receive the Free Gift Of Eternal Life???   ....through faith and belief in Christ

Acts 16:31   “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”

Saving faith is not merely intellectual assent. It is trusting in Jesus Christ alone and what He has done rather that what we can do to get us to heaven.

What Can I Do To Be Sure Of Salvation Now?

The Bible says , “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

You can do this by simply praying: “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins, and save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation, and I accept your free gift of eternal life.”

If this prayer is the sincere desire of your heart, look at the promise of Jesus in John 6:47  “Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
